The Anti-God American Civil Liberties Union Wages Jihad Against God And Children
Washington, DC - "The Anti-God American Civil Liberties Union is at it again," said Traditional Values Coalition Chairman Rev. Louis P. Sheldon today. "Their anti-God Jihad is now targeted at a public school in California. School officials had posted a 'God Bless America' sign outside of the Breen Elementary School in Rocklin to express concern for our nation during a time of national crisis."
According to Rev. Sheldon, the ACLU sees this sign as a sinister assault on religious freedom and diversity. In a letter of concern to the school, the ACLU intoned that such a display is "dividing its young students along religious lines" and are "hurting and isolating their schoolchildren of minority faiths" by displaying the sign. Hundreds of parents and children rallied to keep the sign up. Breen Elementary school principal Terry Thornton had one terse comment for the ACLU: "We are planning on keeping up our message."
"The ACLU Jihadists are ever vigilant to make certain that public school children are forbidden from thinking about God. Yet the ACLU is doing everything it can assure that these same children will have unlimited access to pornographic materials on public library computers," said Rev. Sheldon.
Rev. Sheldon points to the following anti-God, anti-child activities of the ACLU:
*Shortly after the September 11 terrorist attack upon our nation, the ACLU was rebuffed by the U.S. Supreme Court in its aggressive effort to prohibit Virginia school children from engaging in a "moment of silence" during their school day. The Court ruled against the ACLU's claim that this moment of silence was unconstitutional. "Heaven forbid that these children might think positive thoughts about God and their nation after terrorists crashed into the World Trade Center and Pentagon," said Rev. Sheldon.
*In March, 2001, the ACLU, along with the American Library Association, filed a legal challenge to the Child Internet Protection Act (CIPA). This new legislation was designed to require that public libraries receiving federal funds have filtering systems on library computers.
*The ACLU's commitment to pornography goes even further. This group is currently defending NAMBLA (North American Man-Boy Love Association) against a wrongful death lawsuit brought against this pedophile group by Barbara Curley. Barbara's son, Jeffrey was murdered by a NAMBLA child molester and his homosexual lover back in 1997. (Curley's lawyer, Lawrence Frisoli, has just added 20 more pedophiles to this lawsuit.) The ACLU is defending NAMBLA 's right to disseminate child molestation materials over the Internet. While the ACLU believes that child molesters may be prosecuted for their crimes, the group also claims that once child pornography is published, it may be free distributed over the Internet without prosecution. This is supposedly a "First Amendment" free speech issue.
*The ACLU has also recently taken up the cause of an 18-year-old child molester in Kansas who was arrested for engaging in oral sex with a developmentally disabled 14-year-old boy. The ACLU has filed a friend of the court brief on behalf of the child molester, claiming that the sex predator' s potential prison sentence will be far more severe than if he had been a heterosexual. The ACLU sees serious constitutional issues at work here.
Rev. Sheldon notes: "In the ACLU's skewed view of reality, evil and immorality are to be protected at all costs. While God is banned from public schools, a child must have unlimited access to pornography on a school library computer. This 'right' is to be fiercely protected. While a 'moment of silence' is to be condemned, the ACLU will defend an international ring of pedophiles who prey upon the souls of innocent children. May God protect our children from ACLU lawyers and their child molester friends."
